An Umbris account belongs to one Discord account. Membership runs through the Umbris Discord server, so you need a Discord account to make one.
What is stored
- Your Discord id: the number Discord knows your account by, the same one the Umbris bot uses.
- The date the account was made.
- The logins you use, the date each was linked and the last day each was used.
- A hashed token for each browser you are signed in on.
Signing up stores nothing else: no email address, no Discord username or avatar, no IP address and no access token. Discord's token is used once to read your id and then discarded. A pen name, site roles, linked logins, blog drafts and Learn progress are kept only once you use them. Your account page lists everything this service holds.
Discord asks you to approve the Umbris Accounts application each time you sign in with it. If this Discord account already has an Umbris account, you are signed in to it; no second account is made.
